” When I started counting my blessings, my whole life turned around.”   ~Willie Nelson

Thanksgiving is such a great holiday. The food is always excellent and the time invested with friends and family is truly a blessing. Getting ready though, can take its toll, and I’m sure you have a lot to do in the coming days–possibly shopping, cooking, and entertaining.

I will keep it short and simple this week. I mainly wanted to wish you a VERY Happy Thanksgiving and remind you that all work and no play can make you feel frustrated and NOT rested, but on the other hand, a little fun (and perhaps a little wine) can make all the difference in your holiday.

I saw this cute recipe for “Marshmallow Pilgrim Hats” on familyfun.com and I thought you might enjoy making them with your children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews, or with a friend. I think grownups and kids will all really enjoy making and eating them. They are super easy and really cute, and making them will give you an opportunity to just slow down!

Here is the link to watch the video. It is just over 1 minute long. You may have to watch a really short commercial first before the “Marshmallow Pilgrim Hats” video starts. There are other video recipes there as well, so have fun with it.

Have a week of  blessing and meaning, and really slow down to see and especially to experience all of the wonderful people and things that are a part of your life.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING,

Margo
