Having forgiveness flowing through you as a way of life will empower you, enhance your everyday relationships and experiences, and open
you up to greater success.
To forgive is to give before it is needed- to give of your kindness ahead of time! It involves approaching any one or any situation with an attitude that you are thinking the best and that you are “for” others.
It never involves “looking” for fault. Those who look for an offense find one. Those who look to find offenses are functioning in pride and ego, which actually hinders relationships and blocks true life success.
When someone does something that hurts you, releasing them from that hurt is a sign of maturity. The scripture tells us that all things work together for our good as lovers of God, so why should we hold another hostage because of an offense? Release them so God can do great things in your life.
Forgive and feel the freedom of it!
“Burning bridges behind you is understandable. It’s the bridges before us that we burn,
not realizing we may need to cross, that brings regret.”
