Do we?

Do we tell people to share, only to correct them, try to fix them, smooth over what they’re feeling with positive words, discuss with others what they’re going through, criticize, make light of their concerns, dominate the conversation, talk down to them, preach at them, become defensive, or make the conversation about us?

No wonder people don’t share.

How can we make it easier for people to trust us with their feelings? How can we become a person they want to come to?
